Most projects mix two or three of these: carpet out, a subfloor patch, new hardwood, then the stairs to match. One estimate covers all of it.
Hardwood is the floor people mean when they say they want real floors. It is warm underfoot, it ages well, and a solid board can be sanded and refinished many times over the life of the house. We install solid and engineered hardwood from Lula across North Georgia, from a single bedroom to a whole main level.
Hardwood installation details
If your hardwood is gray in the traffic lanes, scratched up by the dog, or stuck with a dated orange finish, it probably does not need replacing. A full sand takes it back to bare wood, and fresh stain and finish make it look close to the day it was laid.
Sanding and refinishing details
Luxury vinyl plank and laminate are the practical floors: tough, good-looking and quick to install. They are the go-to for kitchens, mudrooms, basements and rentals, and for anyone with big dogs and muddy paws.
LVP and laminate details
Stairs are the hardest part of most flooring jobs and the first thing everyone sees when they walk in. We install, repair and refinish wood stairs: treads, risers, nosing, landings and handrails, so the staircase matches the floors it connects.

The subfloor is the plywood or OSB deck under your finished floor. When it goes soft, squeaky or uneven, every floor on top of it suffers. Tile cracks, plank floors click and separate, and hardwood cups and gaps.
